The Exchange Club of North San Luis Obispo County offers service opportunities through a variety of
projects and activities.
AMERICANISM activities include:
· PROUDLY WE HAIL – Recognition of those individuals and businesses that proudly and properly fly the American
Flag at the home or place of business.
· GIVEAKIDAFLAGTOWAVE – by handing out flags to kids of all ages to wave at the Paso Robles Pioneer Day Parade
and the Templeton Fourth of July Parade, we pass on a sense of tradition and patriotic pride to our youth.
LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIREFIGHTER
RECOGNITION – During the month of March, we select a member of the law enforcement, firefighters, or volunteers
to recognize years of dedication and service to their community.
Scholarships for graduating seniors) – We provide as many as five scholarships each year to
graduating seniors who are going on to either community college or a four-year college.
YOUNG CITIZENSHIP
AWARDS:
On the nomination of local teachers, middle school students are awarded for their
willingness to be good citizens to their communities.

SHAKEN-BABY SYNDROME EDUCATION
– Together with our demonstration doll, Sarah, and an educational DVD on this
subject, we make a presentation several times a year to local high school and college students on the dangers of shaking a baby.
